Committee recently changed their scholarship guidelines to reimburse credit
unions under $7 million, 100% of the cost, up to $300 to attend a KCUA, CUNA,
KCCU or CUNA Mutual education session. This is an increase from the current 75%
hopes that the increase in reimbursement will encourage more credit unions
under $7 million to apply for scholarships.
Credit unions from $7-$75 million in
assets receive 50% of cost up to $300 and credit unions over $75 million in
assets receive 25% of cost up to $300.
Applicants will be awarded one
scholarship per person in each 12 month period (January-December) however a
credit union may receive a scholarship for up to four webinars/audio conferences
per 12 month period (January-December). A credit union group scholarship does
not count against an individual receiving a scholarship.
The YES Committee meets on the
following schedule to review and approve scholarships for the previous fiscal
quarter: January, April, June and October.
