Credit Union of America (CUA) recently hired Ryan Runnells as the Branch Manager of the Goddard location (19991 W. Kellogg Drive) and Kristin Smet as the Youth and Education Coordinator.

Runnells has a proven track record of success through changing markets. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing from Newman University. Throughout his career in financial services, Runnells has also held positions at Regent Financial Group and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.

Smet brings a diverse business background to the organization with a Marketing degree from Wichita State University, and a degree in Accounting to be completed this May. Before her role at CUA, Smet worked as an Accounting Assistant at Koch business Solutions, LP. She’s also gained experience throughout the Wichita community working in banking, advertising and small business accounting.

Credit Union of America currently has 13 locations in Kansas. CUA’s field of membership includes those employed in education across the state of Kansas, and is available to any individual living or working in 18 Kansas counties.
