Credit Union of America’s Jane Hammil received the Political Involvement Award, recognizing her extraordinary effort and involvement in educating both state and national policymakers on the credit union difference.
Since she came to Credit Union of America in 2009, Hammil has been a fierce advocate for their credit union members and the credit union movement.
Her passion for the credit union movement is evident as she works to educate policymakers in both Topeka and Washington D.C. on the credit union difference.
Under her leadership, Hammil stepped forward to engage their staff, volunteers, and members in the 2012 election cycle.
In addition, Hammil coordinated and launched a staff wide payroll deduction program, raising over $5,000 to support credit union political action committees on the state and federal level.
