Skip - a - Payment Program Helps Members and Our Community
Emporia State Federal Credit Union (ESFCU) will be presenting checks to the Salvation Army and the Kansas Children’s Service League. Each charity will receive a check for over $1,100.
These checks are presented on behalf of the membership of ESFCU. As part of the annual Skip-a- Payment loan program, qualified ESFCU members can skip one of their consumer loan payments in November or December. For each loan payment skipped, the member donated $15 to the local charities.
The volunteer Board of Directors of Emporia State Federal Credit Union recognized the importance of helping our members by allowing them to keep a little more cash during this holiday season. The board also wished to help those in our community. By combining the wishes, the Skip-a-Payment program is the best illustration of the credit union philosophy of people helping people.
