Credit Union of America (CUA) is pleased to announce our two-year commitment to the Air Capital Classic (ACC) Ambassador program.
"The Tournament is a first-class event and brings so much to our local economy, not to mention the fun atmosphere for the players, fans, and volunteers. CUA wants the Air Capital Classic to stay in Wichita, so we’re stepping up to support them. We encourage other businesses to do the same.” said Glenda Burkett, CUA’s Vice President of Marketing.
CUA has also partnered with the Air Capital Classic for the past seven years in a fundraiser for the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, at Via Christi. In the seven years of the tournament, the CUA-ACC partnership has raised over $296,000 for Kansas families facing childhood illnesses. Credit Union of America currently has 12 locations in Kansas. CUA’s field of membership includes those employed in education across the state of Kansas, and is available to any individual living or working in 18 Kansas counties. CUA has over 51,000 members, with locations in Wichita, Derby, Goddard and Great Bend.
Established in 1935, CUA is a full consumer-service financial cooperative providing low-cost checking, savings, investments, and loan services; and small business services. As of June 30, 2013 CUA assets total $527.9 million. CUA is member owned and operated. CUA’s deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. Government Agency. CUA is an Equal Housing Lender and Equal Opportunity Employer.
