That was the outcome of the Council Summer Jam Session in Wichita last month that brought lenders and marketers from across the state together for networking, dialogue and sharing of ideas and best practices.
The lending group brainstormed ideas in the areas of loan growth strategies, successful collection tactics and non-interest income loan add-ons.
The marketing group brainstormed ideas on ways to reach the financial decision maker, special events/annual meeting ideas and guerrilla marketing.
In addition, attendees heard from panel guests from both inside and outside the industry, sharing information and best practices on a variety of hot topics.
Attendees enjoyed sharing and learning from each other, as well as networking with other credit union leaders.
