Leavenworth, Kansas – Frontier Community Credit Union presented a check for $10,181.90 to representatives from Children’s Miracle Network of Greater Kansas City. Since 1999, the credit union has donated more than $142,000 to the charity.

The credit union invited members and staff to make donations to support the annual campaign, and even offered a Skip-A-Payment incentive to members with Frontier Community Credit Union loans.

Frontier Community Credit Union’s President, Bill Hauber, proudly presented the funds and reflected on the credit union’s efforts. "The credit union exists to serve this community and, because we know that 100% of our contribution stays here to help local families, we are sure of the program’s value and proud to continue our support of CMN."

Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network has raised more than $4 billion, most of it one dollar at a time. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of a mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

Frontier Community Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution serving those who live or work in Leavenworth, Atchison, Jefferson, Douglas, Johnson and Wyandotte Counties, as well as active or retired military and Federal Civil Service personnel who reside within a 100-mile radius of Fort Leavenworth.
