A big thanks to the Topeka Credit Union Foundation and the Wheatbelt Chapter for stepping up and donating BizKid$ DVD box sets to the Children's Miracle Network hospitals located in Kansas. Thanks to their generous donations, all three Kansas hospitals have at least one DVD set.

The donated sets will be customized to promote who donated them, a great way to show how credit unions support financial literacy.

The campaign to provide every CMN hospital in the country with the BizKid$ DVD sets was coordinated by Credit Unions for Kids and the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF). Providing the hospitals with these DVD's enhances the financial education opportunities for patients and families at these hospitals.

The Topeka Credit Union Foundation donated two BizKid$ DVD sets to the St. Francis Health Center in Topeka, and the Wheatbelt Chapter donated one DVD set each to the KU Medical Center in Kansas City,  and the Via Christi Hospital in Wichita.

Half of the cost of the DVDs were picked up by CO-OP Financial Services. The Kansas Credit Union Association donated $1000 for production of these DVDs.

Thanks again to the credit unions who illustrated the credit union philosophy of people helping people.

Biz Kid$ is the Emmy Award winning and credit union funded public television series that teaches kids about money management and entrepreneurship.
