Wolgamott’s addition into Credit Union Times’ 2013 list of Trailblazers
A leading credit union industry publication, Credit Union Times showcases young executives – ages 39 and below – who are bettering credit unions through their work, energy and talents. Wolgamott is the November honoree for Trailblazers 40 Below.
Wolgamott has been in the financial industry for 15 years. In his current role, he oversees Meritrust’s financial counseling and literacy initiatives. Wolgamott works with individuals who struggle with debt, budgeting or financial hardships – or who simply want to make sure they’re on a solid financial path. During free financial counseling sessions, he helps members determine a plan for managing debt, setting a budget and improving their financial situation.

Wolgamott completed his undergraduate studies in management at Wichita State University and received a Masters of Adult Education from Kansas State University. He also earned a CCUFC certificate for financial counseling through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) in 2010.
