Educational Credit Union is pleased to announce that Mrs. Musselman, a second grade teacher at Silver Lake Elementary School, is ECU’s Teacher That Makes a Difference winner. Mrs. Musselman will receive an iPad2 for her classroom and her nominator will receive an iPad mini.
During April, Educational Credit Union accepted nominations for teachers that make a difference. A committee of ECU employees narrowed down the nominations to three finalists: Mrs. Johnson, a first grade teacher at McClure Elementary, Ms. Akers and Ms. Mersmann, a co-teaching team at Pine Ridge Prep (USD 501), and Mrs. Musselman.
The finalists were highlighted on ECU’s website during Teacher Appreciation Week for public voting, May 6th through 9th. With over 2,000 votes, Mrs. Musselman was named our winner of the ECU Teacher That Makes a Difference.
Educational Credit Union is one of the oldest credit unions in Kansas. ECU is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution that is committed to providing sound financial services which benefit all members. ECU has over 21,000 member/owners and $180 million in total assets.
