Overview:
Regulators are more risk averse now than ever and credit unions are feeling the increased pressure.  Don’t be caught ill prepared for the new realities of credit union examinations.  You need to understand the logic and limits of the examination process.   With an increasing volume of enforcement and administrative actions, now is not the time to take the passive approach with your examination. This session will review the current regulatory climate and core regulatory concerns, discuss the basics of the examination process, as well as reveal the best practices for planning, preparing and engaging the examination team. 

Speaker: David Reed is an attorney, author, consultant and nationally recognized speaker, David A. Reed is a partner in the law firm of Reed and Jolly, PLLC and founder of CUDoctor, a full service credit union consulting practice. Through Reed & Jolly, Mr. Reed provides guidance to credit unions concerning a variety of matters including the establishment and revision of credit union policies and procedures, organizational compliance, collections, security, contractual agreements, regulatory matters and corporate governance.

$25-$75 million - $89 per telephone connection
Under $25 million -  $59 per telephone connection

Education Scholarships:

Scholarships are available for all KCUA education events. Scholarships pay 100% of registration fee for credit unions under $25M, 50% for credit unions between $25-$75M and 25% for credit unions over $75M.
