YES Committee College Scholarship Application

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Scholarships are available to children and grandchildren of credit unions staff and volunteers.
  • Scholarships are available on KCUA’s website or from the YES council representatives.
  • Applicant must be a full-time college student or a graduating senior from high school.
  • Scholarship is to be used for Kansas accredited schools only.
  • Scholarship is paid half each semester, for tuition and/or books.
  • High school or college accumulative GPA of 3.25% or higher.
  • Candidates are eligible to receive the scholarship one time only.

Additional Requirements

If you submit the application electronically, please be sure to mail the following to KCUA at the following address.

  • Applicant must submit with the application a copy of their current school transcript, a letter of recommendations from applicant’s sponsor, and a 300-500 word essay on “What is a credit union and what does it mean to me?” (A sponsor is the parent, guardian, grandparent currently employed by a credit union or is a volunteer for a credit union),

All applications need to be received at the Kansas Credit Union Association, 2872 North Ridge Road, Ste. 122, Wichita, KS 67205, attention Gina Evans by February 15th.
