Each year, the Kansas Credit Union Association hosts a Credit Union Basic Training workshop for new credit union employees. Twice a year, new employees from across the state, gather to learn about the credit union history, philosophy and structure of the credit union movement as well as strategies for enhancing member service skills and working with different personalities.

After a recent review of the V500 CU Technology Issues Volunteer Achievement Program (VAP) module and V501 Planning for Technology VAP module, CUNA has determined that it is in the best interest of their volunteer members, the leagues and for CUNA that these modules be discontinued and not replaced.
Networking and sharing are great ways to learn from your peers. As a KCUA Council member, you can stay connected with your peers through webinars, list serve (group email list), file share feature, face to face seminars and meet ups.
Beginning in 2012, the Youth Education and Scholarship Council (YES Council) will become a KCUA Board appointed committee. Their name will change to the YES Committee effective January 1, 2012.
