Mission
The mission of CUnext is to create excitement about credit unions in young professionals through education, networking, civic action, and political advocacy.

The goals of the CUnext group are to:

• Recruit, develop, and retain young professionals in the credit union movement;
• Create opportunities for collaboration;
• Embrace and drive positive change in the credit union movement; and
• Share with others what young professionals are doing across Kansas.

CUnext is going to provide you the opportunity to learn from your peers and make a BIG difference within your credit union and within our movement.

In 2011, CUnexters have:

• learned about the importance of advocacy;
• had a hands on experience with the legislative process at the Kansas Statehouse by shadowing their legislators and meeting with legislative leadership;
• had a brainstorming session with our renowned AMC presenters;
• met with Congressman Kevin Yoder at KCUA’s Annual Meeting and Convention; and
• met with valued CU partners—CUNA Mutual Group, KS Corporate Credit Union and Children’s Miracle Network.

Eligibility
CUnext membership is open to all young professionals between 18 and 30(ish) years old who are employed at a KCUA affiliated credit union and their CUSOs.

Membership Dues
Membership is FREE the first year! Dues of $25 per year, per person will start in September 2012.
