The Kansas Credit Union Association is the trade association for credit unions in Kansas, serving more than 640,000 Kansas consumers.

Established in 1934, the Association assists member credit unions in meeting the needs of their members and potential members by providing operational assistance, promoting growth, and advocating on behalf of all credit unions in the state.

Credit Unions Make a Difference
As part of our mission of “people helping people,” credit unions have always recognized the importance of community involvement and financial literacy—both for their members and in their communities. Whether it was bringing financial literacy to their local schools, providing financial counseling one-on-one with their members, or working at their local community charity, credit unions and their 1,800 employees are making a big difference in communities across the state.

is an easy and affordable way to strengthen current abilities and enhance opportunities for advancement. Courses are available for staff, managers and volunteers.

For member credit unions: Make a Difference events

Plans are underway for our next Make a Difference event, which are part of the statewide awareness campaign. Events are designed to make a difference in the lives of unsuspecting consumers by illustrate the people helping people philosophy.

Past events have been a tremendous success. To date, Kansas credit unions have given away $45,000 through these events. The deadline has passed to sign up for the event.
